Former Married At First Sight bride Bec Zacharia <\/strong>has returned to Instagram, a week after her account was deactivated<\/a> over a scandal at Australian Fashion Week<\/a>.\u00a0\n<\/p>\n

Bec \u2014 one of MAFS season 13\u2019s most talked-about participants<\/a> \u2014 claimed earlier this month that her Instagram profile was taken down after she was \u201cmass-reported\u201d by users following a viral interview during AFW.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In that interview with The Gloss Over Podcast<\/a>, Bec claimed she spent $20,000 on her wardrobe throughout her time on MAFS, adding that she was \u201cthe only bride\u201d who bought her outfits as opposed to hiring them.<\/p>\n

The comment was quickly refuted by Aussie dress hire company RESRVD, whose owner, Savannah<\/strong>, shared receipts on social media that showed Bec had enlisted her services for an outfit worn in the Final Vows ceremony.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bec copped backlash over the claim to the point of receiving mass reports on her Instagram, resulting in it being deactivated. <\/p>\n

But the reality star\u2019s page has since been reinstated, and she shared an Instagram post with her MAFS co-star Alissa Fay<\/strong><\/a> over the weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSticks and stones may break our bones, but names will NEVER hurt us,\u201d Bec captioned the picture.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not known exactly how Bec was able to regain access to her Instagram page. PEDESTRIAN.TV has reached out to Bec for comment.<\/p>\n

The aftermath of the viral interview<\/p>\n

Soon after her account was deactivated, Bec said her social media page \u201cwas literally my income source\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow, my Instagram being deleted because of so many people reporting me has literally completely stopped any form of income I had coming up, and it\u2019s detrimental to my whole life,\u201d she told PEDESTRIAN.TV<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m barely surviving, and I\u2019m completely cash poor,\u201d she added.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Bec apologised to Savannah and RESRVD for the interview that got her into hot water in the first place, saying she \u201cnever meant to maliciously hurt Savannah\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was an honest and genuine mistake. As soon as I realised her grievances, I posted it and tagged her and thanked her and apologised,\u201d Bec told PEDESTRIAN.TV.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Savannah has not responded to Bec\u2019s apology, but she did share a video thanking viewers for their support last week.<\/p>\n
