Compared with the previous quarter, imports increased by 1.7% and exports decreased by 0.1%. Compared with the first quarter of 2025, both imports and exports decreased, by 3.3% and 8.8%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecl-u-type-paragraph\">China was the EU\u2019s largest supplier, accounting for \u20ac145.3 billion (23.1% of all imports). The United States came second with \u20ac85.9 billion (13.7%), followed by United Kingdom with \u20ac39.5 billion (6.3%), Switzerland with \u20ac36.7 billion (5.8%) and T\u00fcrkiye with \u20ac24.6 (3.9%).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"ecl-u-type-paragraph\">Compared with the first quarter of 2025, imports declined from T\u00fcrkiye (-7.5%), the United States (-5.7%) and the United Kingdom (-3.4%).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><a class=\"ecl-link\" href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/documents\/d\/products-eurostat-news\/main-eu-partners-trade-goods-q1-2025-q1-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Main EU partners for trade in goods, Q1 2025 and Q1 2026  (\u20ac billion, seasonally adjusted data).
