Gillan will appear alongside series stars Jason Segel, Harrison Ford, Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tExact details on Gillan\u2019s character are being kept under wraps. As previously reported, Season 4 will feature the same cast and characters, but will <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/shrinking-season-4-same-cast-story-reboot-time-jump-1236709719\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/tv\/news\/shrinking-season-4-same-cast-story-reboot-time-jump-1236709719\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">feature a time jump and entirely new storyline<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGillan is best known for her films roles, including playing Nebula in the three \u201cGuardians of the Galaxy\u201d films and the Marvel Cinematic Universe at large. She has also played Martha\/Ruby Roundhouse in two of the rebooted \u201cJumanji\u201d films to date, with a third film in that franchise set to release this Christmas. In television, Gillan is known for her early breakout role in \u201cDoctor Who,\u201d while she has also starred in shows like \u201cSelfie\u201d and \u201cDouglas Is Cancelled.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tShe is repped by UTA, Maison Two, Linden Entertainment, and Jackoway Austen. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cShrinking\u201d was created by Bill Lawrence, Segel, and Brett Goldstein. Lawrence executive produces via Doozer Productions along with Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer. Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Randall Winston, Rachna Fruchbom, Ashley Nicole Black, and Bill Posley also executive produce. Warner Bros. Television, where both Lawrence and Goldstein are under overall deals, is the studio. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cShrinking\u201d has proven popular with critics and audiences across its three seasons to date.
