Monaghan at the 20th annual Bord Bia Bloom this morning.<\/p>\n<p>Declan McKenna from\u00a0North Monaghan was awarded gold\u00a0for this year\u2019s Celebrity Dream Garden, inspired by Brendan Courtney.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Clontibret\u2019s Benny Magennis was awarded bronze\u00a0for\u00a0The Minions and Monsters Garden sponsored by Universal Ireland.<\/p>\n<p>A gold medal was also awarded to Marion McGee from the Monaghan Flower and Garden Club in the Association of Irish Floral Artists (AOIFA) Rugged Beauty category.<\/p>\n<p>There was also success in Co. Cavan, as the overall balcony garden award was presented to \u2018The Birdwatcher\u2019s Balcony Garden\u2019\u00a0sponsored by RT\u00c9 Radio 1 and Mooney Goes Wild and designed by Barry Kavanagh in Bailieborough.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Three medals have been awarded to growers from Co.
