Mbappe stretches his lead over Gyokeres<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That means both players will miss the first game of PSG\u2019s Champions League title defence.<\/p>\n<p>They host Ivan Juric\u2019s Atalanta on September 17 and visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/barcelona\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Barcelona<\/strong><\/a>, Dembele\u2019s former club and semi-finalists in 2024\/25, on October 1.<\/p>\n<p>Dembele and Doue were outstanding as PSG emphatically won last season\u2019s Champions League, with the former solidifying himself as the favourite for the Ballon d\u2019Or with his performances in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>He has strong competition from Spain and Barcelona wonderkid <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/tag\/lamine-yamal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Lamine Yamal<\/strong><\/a>, but PSG\u2019s Treble win makes him the strong favourite.<\/p>\n<p>What PSG games will Ousmane Dembele miss through injury?<\/p>\n<p>Dembele\u2019s injury means he will definitely miss three Ligue 1 games and the two aforementioned matches in the Champions League, while it\u2019ll be touch-and-go for another two fixtures.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lens (h) \u2013 Ligue 1: Sunday, September 14<\/li>\n<li>Atalanta (h) \u2013 Champions League: Wednesday, September 17<\/li>\n<li>Marseille (a) \u2013 Ligue 1: Sunday, September 21<\/li>\n<li>Auxerre (h) \u2013 Ligue 1: Saturday, September 27<\/li>\n<li>Barcelona (a) \u2013 Champions League: Wednesday, October 1<\/li>\n<li>Lille (a) \u2013 Ligue 1: Sunday, October 5<\/li>\n<li>Strasbourg (h) \u2013 Ligue 1: Friday, October 17*<\/li>\n<li>Bayer Leverkusen (a) \u2013 Champions League: Tuesday, October 21*<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Doue should return to full fitness during next month\u2019s international break and be fit to face Strasbourg on October 17.<\/p>\n<p>Their absence should allow Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos to impress Luis Enrique.<\/p>\n<p>Barcola was linked with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/liverpool\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Liverpool<\/strong><\/a> and Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, but Fabrizio Romano confirmed in August that PSG want to offer him a new contract.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote on X: \u201cLiverpool consider Bradley Barcola as world class player but no bid or talks at this stage, focus remains on Isak now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPSG want to keep Barcola and offer him new deal.
