Officials also said the supplements could be connected to a multistate salmonella outbreak linked to dietary supplements containing imported moringa leaf powder.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The FDA said there have been 119 illnesses reported in connection with the salmonella outbreak. Of the reported illnesses, 32 were hospitalizations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Here&#8217;s what to know about the supplement recall.<\/p>\n<p>See the &#8216;risky foods&#8217; linked to US recalls and illness outbreaks<\/p>\n<p>1 of 10<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0;\"><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consumerreports.org\/\">Consumer Reports<\/a>, the nonprofit known for testing and monitoring consumer-facing policy and products, released <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\" href=\"https:\/\/www.consumerreports.org\/health\/food-safety\/really-risky-foods-right-now-a7840705850\/#a10-risky-foods-of-2024\">its annual risky food report<\/a> in April, naming the 10 foods of 2024 that were subject to the most recalls and\/or associated with the largest illness outbreaks.
