Russell T Davies (It\u2019s A Sin, Years and Years) brings us another compelling drama in the form of this searing exploration of the most corrosive forces facing the LGBTQ+ community today. Alan Cumming stars as Leo, the vivacious owner of a bar in Manchester\u2019s Gay Village, while David Morrissey is Leo\u2019s neighbour, Clive. The two have lived next door to each for a decade without any trouble, but then something shifts (no spoilers), which changes their relationship for good. Arriving on Channel 4 at 9pm on Sunday 31st May.<\/p>\n

Emma Barnett: Fighting Endometriosis\"tx<\/p>\n

BBC<\/p>\n

Having spent decades suffering with the disease, broadcaster Emma Barnett is bringing us the UK\u2019s first documentary on endometriosis and it’s as brutally honest as you’d hope. The hour-long film sees her speak to medical experts, patients and researchers while documenting her own experience of living with the condition and investigating the realities faced by millions of women across the UK. Emma said at a Women in Film & TV screening: \u201cA huge part of this documentary was about making the invisible visible.\u201d All hail, Emma Barnett. Arriving on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer at 9pm on Monday 1st June.<\/p>\n

Poldark\u2019s Eleanor Tomlinson is returning to our screens in this gem of a psychological thriller about an inheritance with a dark side. Amanda Blakefield (Tomlinson), has a somewhat ordinary existence with her husband Jimmy (Matthew Lewis) and their son Luke (James Younger). But when a man she’s never met or heard of hands her an enormous inheritance (\u00a32 million, no less), she finds herself embroiled in the nightmarish world of the Worrall Family, headed up by patriarch Martin Worrall (Denis Lawson). Utterly gripping. Arriving on Channel 5 on Tuesday 2nd June.<\/p>\n

Will Trent\"will<\/p>\n

One for detective drama fans, this popular series is based on Karin Slaughter\u2019s bestselling book series and introduces us to Special Agent Will Trent (Ram\u00f3n Rodr\u00edguez), who has defied the odds after a tough start in life to become the top investigator at the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. His career isn\u2019t exactly an easy ride, however – far from it, in fact. Now entering its fourth series, the new instalment finds Will and the team dealing with more complicated cases across Atlanta, including a suburban murder and a missing college student. Series 4 is arriving on Disney+ on Wednesday 3rd June.<\/p>\n

Cape Fear\"cape<\/p>\n

Directed by Martin Scorsese and produced by Steven Spielberg, Cape Fear brings Max Cady -the villain of the 1962 and 1991 films – back to life. Amy Adams and Patrick Wilson are Amanda and Steve Bowden, who are quietly going about their lives when Max is released from prison. The convicted rapist and murderer blames them for his conviction almost two decades earlier \u2013 and now, he wants revenge. Is it better than the original? Quite possibly. Arriving on Apple TV on Friday 5thJune.<\/p>\n

The Witness\"the<\/p>\n

One of Netflix\u2019s most highly anticipated crime dramas this year, this three-part series is based on the devastating true story of Rachel Nickell. In 1992, Rachel was tragically murdered on London\u2019s Wimbledon Common and her two-year-old son, Alex, was the sole eyewitness to the attack. Expect a powerful watch as the drama zeroes in on the heartbreaking aftermath through the eyes of Rachel\u2019s partner, Andr\u00e9 Hanscombe (Jordan Bolger). Arriving on Netflix on Thursday 4thJune.<\/p>\n

Nobody\u2019s Fool\"from<\/p>\n

Fancy something a bit lighter? Rivals fans will enjoy Nobody\u2019s Fool, which is hosted by two of its stars Emily Atack and Danny Dyer. The reality quiz show puts 10 contestants in a unique and mischievous \u2018Smart House\u2019 where they compete in challenges to convince their housemates that they\u2019re more intelligent than they might actually be. Across the series, the players must determine who’s the weakest amongst them and eliminate them, which isn\u2019t exactly easy when only the contestants themselves will know how well they\u2019ve scored in each challenge. Like Traitors but for clever clogs.
