\n\tPrime Video<\/a>\u2018s serialized adaptation of Off Campus<\/a> may be skipping ahead of Elle Kennedy<\/a>\u2018s source material, eschewing The Mistake couple of John Logan (Antonio Cipriano<\/a>) and Grace Ivers (India Fowler<\/a>) for The Score pairing Dean Di Laurentis (Stephen Kalyn) and Allie Hayes (Mika Abdalla), but that doesn\u2019t mean audiences won\u2019t get a glimpse of the duo\u2019s romantic beginnings in Season 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new interview with People<\/a>, Cipriano teased what viewers can expect of the Logan and Grace storyline.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m glad that you don\u2019t see him in love in the first season,\u201d he explained. \u201cI think it\u2019s cool that you get to know who he is as a person and the struggles that he\u2019s going through, so that when that comes in, when you meet Grace and when he gets to do that, she gets to take down his walls, and you get to see even more of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Broadway alum continued: \u201cObviously, we have a Grace now, and that\u2019s very exciting. So there\u2019s going to be a little bit of that [in Season 2], and we\u2019ll just see how it all plays out.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCipriano told the publication he read with \u201cthree amazing and completely individual, different versions of Grace\u201d who were all \u201cincredible,\u201d but that ultimately Fowler\u2019s take and \u201cquirkiness\u201d felt like \u201cshe truly fell right out of the books.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen we were watching the videos back, some of the chem reads, after having done it that day, [co-showrunners] Louisa [Levy] or Gina [Fattore], one of them said, \u2018It\u2019s cool, because you can tell she has no idea what\u2019s going to come out of her mouth next,\u2019 which is so Grace, and it was so perfect,\u201d he recalled.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cShe\u2019s going to bring so much to the show. She\u2019s going to elevate it, and I\u2019m so excited for Logan and Grace\u2019s dynamic. It\u2019s perfect,\u201d Cipriano previewed.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with Deadline\u2019s Dessi Gomez, Cipriano opened up about what he\u2019s most excited to see in a potential season focusing on Logan and Grace<\/a>. \u201cI love\u00a0The Mistake. I think it\u2019s a great book. I think it\u2019s such a cute little rom-com-y moment, and I think the ending is so great. And I love the list. I\u2019m just excited for all these small little things and the meeting scene. We don\u2019t know exactly what it\u2019s gonna look like, but whenever we hopefully get to that moment, that will be really exciting,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\n\tLogan is Garrett Graham\u2019s (Belmont Cameli) best friend and Right Wing on the Briar Hawks collegiate hockey team when he meets freshman sociology major Grace who catches his eye.<\/p>\n

\n\tOff Campus was renewed for Season 2<\/a> well ahead of its inaugural season release \u2014 and for good reason, as Season 1 smashed the streamer\u2019s viewing records to secure a No. 3 spot as the most-viewed debut installment ever<\/a>. Deadline broke the exclusive news of Fowler\u2019s casting<\/a> alongside Philipa Soo, who is set to recur as Scarlett, a theater artist who is guest directing an original play for the college\u2019s drama department.<\/p>\n

\n\tCreated for television by Levy, college soap\u00a0Off Campus\u00a0follows an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak and self-discovery \u2014 forging deep bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 1 follows the \u201copposites attract\u201d romance between quiet songwriter, Hannah (Ella Bright), and Briar U\u2019s hockey star, Garrett, as they hatch a fake dating scheme to try and win over Hannah\u2019s crush Justin Kohl (Josh Heuston). The first season\u00a0also introduces the rest of the quartet of hockey players<\/a>\u00a0who will each co-lead a season based on a different book.<\/p>\n
