The Betsy bar and restaurant on Main Street in Swords, Dublin<\/a>, announced on Tuesday that they were closing down.<\/p>\n

The bar and restaurant<\/a> first opened in 2018.<\/p>\n

They shared on social media <\/a>and said: \u201cIt is with deep sadness that we announce the immediate closure of The Betsy Bar & Restaurant due to unforeseen circumstances.<\/p>\n

“This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and one that has not been made lightly.<\/p>\n

“Over the years, The Betsy has been more than just a bar and restaurant – it has been a place where friendships were formed, celebrations were shared, and countless memories were made.<\/p>\n

“For that, we will be forever grateful.”<\/p>\n

Many users on Instagram <\/a>were shocked by the news.<\/p>\n

One user said: \u201cSo sorry to hear this, we had such a great time there any time we were there. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond for us. Wishing all the staff the very best.\u201d<\/p>\n
