Danica McKellar<\/strong> is working on her fitness goals thanks to the expert herself, longtime workout guru, Denise Austin.<\/strong><\/p>\n

“I’m 51 and I workout so I can look like Denise Austin<\/strong><\/a> when I grow up,” the Wonder Years star, 51, captioned a video of her doing a fitness routine. McKellar also elaborated on how social media has been a source of “fitness motivation from those who seem to defy traditionally perceived age limitations,” and specifically called out Austin, Full House star Candace Cameron Bure,<\/strong><\/a> who regularly shares her fitness journey on social media, and fitness coach Denise Kirtley.<\/p>\n

“I don’t lift heavy like some of them do, but I hope I can be motivating for some of you as well,” McKellar, who showed off her fit figure in a black crop top with matching leggings in the video, continued. “Remember: fitness is 80% clean eating, 20% exercise – I’m pretty sure at any age.<\/p>\n

While the post’s comments section was filled with support, it drew the attention of Austin, who couldn’t help but gush.<\/p>\n

“OMG!!! YOU are such a SWEETHEART!!!” she wrote. “Thank you for this Danica!!! And you look AMAZING!!!! This means a lot to me especially coming from you!!!!!!”<\/p>\n

Bure, who’s McKellar’s industry peer through their work on the Great American Family Network, commented “Get it” with a muscle emoji<\/a>. Kirtley also commented that she’s “honored to be mentioned!” and also said the actress looks “amazing.”<\/p>\n

Fans also couldn’t help but comment about how great McKellar looks.<\/p>\n

“You look oh so fit strong beautiful and stunning,” one said.<\/p>\n

“You’re always looking great Danica!” said another.<\/p>\n

“Well. Merry Shredmas to all of us,” another wrote as a nod to McKellar’s regular roles in holiday TV movies<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This isn’t the first time where the longtime actress has addressed aging gracefully. In fact, she regularly broaches the topic on social media.<\/p>\n

In an Instagram reel from last week,<\/a> McKellar shared a reaction as to how it feels “when people tell me I look the same as I did on the The Wonder Years.”<\/p>\n

“I’m well aware that I don’t look the same as 35 years ago; that would be weird,” she said.<\/p>\n
