\n\tCast members from Landman gathered at Paramount+\u2019s All Trails Lead Here event celebrating a pair of hit Taylor Sheridan shows \u2014 Landman and The Madison \u2014 that have been lassoed into this season\u2019s awards conversation.<\/p>\n
\n\tLandman stars Andy Garcia and James Jordan shared how eager they were to work with Sheridan in the roles of Gallino and Dale Bradley, respectively. Jordan, Mustafa Speaks and Sam Elliott boiled it down to the writing.<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cA lot of the time, you just got to get out of the way of Taylor\u2019s words,\u201d Jordan said. \u201cHe\u2019s done the heavy lifting for you, he\u2019s done the hard part. If you just get out of the way and trust it, the story unfolds, and, obviously, the audience shows up, they stick around and they love what\u2019s being told.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\tSpeaks called Sheridan a \u201cgenius,\u201d emphasizing how he was affected by the themes, and he\u2019s in the show portraying some of them.<\/p>\n
\n\tElliott, who plays T.L. Norris in the show about oil empires, remarked that \u201cthe beauty of Taylor\u2019s [work] is [it\u2019s] often grounded in the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cThat spoke volumes to me,\u201d added the actor, who also appears in Sheridan\u2019s 1883. \u201cIt speaks to people somehow. There\u2019s a reason that a lot of people are watching this show.\u201d<\/p>\n
