This season, according to the official synopsis, \u201chidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals collide\u201d as Joe (Salda\u00f1a) finds herself trying to protect both her mission and her home life while new dangers close in.<\/p>\n<p>The synopsis also hints that \u201cpatterns appear where they shouldn\u2019t, names vanish, and paths rearrange.\u201d With Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Westfield (<a href=\"https:\/\/decider.com\/tag\/michael-kelly\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Michael Kelly<\/a>) helping steer the operation, Joe is forced to take on enemies who are staying out of sight, pushing her deeper into a conflict that now touches every part of her life.<\/p>\n<p>Season 2 shifted the CIA\u2019s war on terror much closer to home.
