NM3 chief creative officer Francesco Zorzi told Dezeen.

While the ground-floor space has mostly neutral hues and tactile details such as beige curtains, these have been contrasted by steel and mirror fittings and a bright yellow wall that marks the store’s changing room area.

A yellow wall marks the fitting-room area

The colour is a nod to the downstairs space, which customers reach by walking down a travertine staircase.

NM3 and Guerrini drenched this basement room, which will be used to host events, in colour with a yellow resin floor.

The vibrant hue, which is Miss Sixty’s brand colour, is juxtaposed with “a neutral grey coloured textured plaster that works as a backdrop for any kind of event or activation,” he continued.

“In the basement, in order to have the same layout as the lights on the ground floor, we designed a suspended steel grid that allows the lighting system to be freely positioned despite the extremely large systems present on the ceilings.”

It features a custom-made gridded lighting system

NM3 also created a number of custom-made steel furniture pieces for the shop, in line with its usual process.

“In all our projects, we work exclusively with raw materials,”
