{"id":52558,"date":"2025-09-09T08:55:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T08:55:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/52558\/"},"modified":"2025-09-09T08:55:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T08:55:12","slug":"conradh-na-gaeilge-want-to-be-added-to-jamie-brysons-irish-language-sign-case-the-irish-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/52558\/","title":{"rendered":"Conradh na Gaeilge want to be added to Jamie Bryson\u2019s Irish language sign case \u2013 The Irish News"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph\">An Irish language rights group is mounting a bid to intervene in loyalist activist Jamie Bryson\u2019s legal challenge over signage at Grand Central Station in Belfast, the High Court has heard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Papers have been lodged on behalf of Conradh na Gaeilge seeking participation status at the forthcoming judicial review into a decision by Sinn Fein Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Mr Bryson is challenging her approval of a \u00a3150,000 scheme to have Irish language signs installed at the new public transport hub.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">In court on Monday a judge confirmed Conradh na Gaeilge\u2019s application to intervene will be determined before the full hearing of the case is due to get underway later this month.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"c-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishnews.com\/news\/northern-ireland\/businesswoman-issues-unreserved-apology-to-stephen-nolan-for-unacceptable-and-dangerous-defamatory-social-media-comments-HXMBSNQWERHIBIPPUC44ZONBNM\/\" aria-hidden=\"true\" tabindex=\"-1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"Businesswoman issues unreserved apology to Stephen Nolan for &#x201C;unacceptable and dangerous&#x201D;
