Mariska Hargitay\u2019s courtside side seat came with an exclusive view \u2014 just not one that you\u2019d expect from the pricey position. <\/p>\n

The \u201cLaw & Order: Special Victims Unit\u201d star\u2019s courtside seats at Madison Square Garden had their view blocked by the referee when the official was on her side of the court during the Knicks\u2019 115-111 Game 3 loss to the Spurs in the NBA Finals on Monday night.<\/p>\n

The actress can be seen looking around the ref to see the play with co-star Christopher Meloni.<\/p>\n

For someone who said she \u201cwouldn\u2019t miss [Game 3] for the world,\u201d not being able to actually watch must be quite the letdown. <\/p>\n

While not every ticket was as expensive, two courtside seats went on auction for $1 million<\/a> \u2014 though Hargitay is a regular at Knicks games and likely a celebrity row invitee. <\/p>\n

In general, Game 3 is the most expensive ticket in NBA Finals history<\/a>, with an average price of $7,149, per SeatGeek. <\/p>\n

Knicks guard Jalen Brunson and Hargitay have an unlikely friendship <\/a>thanks to the former Villanova player\u2019s SVU fandom.<\/p>\n

Brunson grew up watching SVU, first with his dad. <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a pregame show for me. I\u2019ve always loved that show,\u201d Brunson said on his podcast \u201cThe Roommates Show\u201d co-hosted with teammate Josh Hart. \u201cI\u2019ve never been like super super like starstruck \u2014 super starstruck. I saw her, I was like \u2018Oh shit.\u2019 The first time we met, it was awesome. We talked and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

After multiple interactions on the court, the two have sparked a relationship that led Brunson and his wife to the premiere of\u00a0\u201cMy Mom Jayne\u201d at the Tribeca Film Festival last year.<\/p>\n

Hargitay also said she drew inspiration from the guard during her Broadway debut in\u00a0\u201cEvery Brilliant Thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is so singular and magnificent. He\u2019s a magnificent human,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

Brunson is leading the Knicks with 26.6 points per game in the postseason, also adding 6.3 assists and 2.9 rebounds coming into Game 3. He scored 35 points in Monday night\u2019s loss.<\/p>\n
