Known Trump critic<\/a> Cardi B<\/a> is blaming the president for the Knicks losing Game 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The “Up” rapper took to Instagram after her halftime performance<\/a> during Game 3 of the NBA Finals<\/a> on June 8, in which the New York Knicks took on the San Antonio Spurs. The rapper said the president, who was present at Madison Square Garden<\/a> to cheer on their shared hometown team, brought a “dark” vibe to the stadium.<\/p>\n

The Bronx-born rapper, 33, responded to a comment during an Instagram<\/a> Live session after the game, in which the Knicks lost 111 to 115, asking if Trump was “bad luck” for the team, which was previously on a winning streak in the series.<\/p>\n

“It probably was. But it is what it is,” she said, per social media reposts<\/a>. “You can’t stop the president from \u2026 going to a game. But it did feel a little dark in there.”<\/p>\n

She compared the energy to when a school principal shows up to class.<\/p>\n

“It felt like the principal was there, and everybody had to be on their best behavior \u2026,” she said. “But, nevertheless.”<\/p>\n

The Knicks are 2-1 in the series, with the “WAP” rapper remaining hopeful leading into Game 4 on June 10.<\/p>\n

“I’m still so proud of them,” she said, adding she wants all Knicks fans to come to her Instagram Live before the game to do a “prayer circle” for the team.<\/p>\n

Cardi’s performed her breakout hit “Bodak Yellow” wearing a gray corset and leggings, surrounded by New York Knicks dancers. She also sat courtside at the game with son Wave<\/a>, who “had a blast.”<\/p>\n

“He’s always asking for the phone. He did not ask for the phone [at the game], not one time,” she said of the 4-year-old.<\/p>\n
