Dublin have progressed to round three of the All-Ireland series thanks to an 11-point win over Cavan at Breffni Park on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

With Ger Brennan back on the line after his 12-week ban, Dublin looked more like their old selves, especially in a second-half performance that saw them put Cavan to the sword.<\/p>\n

Issues still remain, mind. Dublin gave up far too many scores in the opening period, and while it would be harsh to call them a one-man team, Con O’Callaghan certainly did his fair share of heavy lifting this afternoon.<\/p>\n

1-7 was his tally for the day, and even with all of Dublin’s struggles, he remains one of the best in the business.<\/p>\n

Dublin move into round 3 and are one win away from the quarter-finals, while for Cavan, their season is over.<\/p>\n
