NEW YORK \u2014 \u201cSummer House\u201d is bidding adieu for now to West Wilson \u2014 whose romance with fellow castmate Amanda Batula, the former close friend of his ex Ciara Miller \u2014 has had the internet in a tizzy, beyond the Bravo bubble.<\/p>\n
Wilson, 31, who joined the Hamptons-set hit with its eighth season in 2024, has not been renewed for the 11th season, series insiders told TMZ. The opportunity for a potential cameo though remains on the table, said sources.<\/p>\n

It was during Wilson\u2019s first season that he was involved with, and gave mixed signals to, fellow housemate Miller<\/a>, 30, who for a time was the show\u2019s sole Black cast member.<\/p>\n The news<\/a> comes amid an uptick in Wilson\u2019s star, and infamy<\/a>, since March, when he and 34-year-old Batula released a joint statement<\/a> responding to \u201cgrowing online speculation\u201d about their dynamic.<\/p>\n \u201cWhile this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,\u201d the pair said while confirming their romance. \u201cIt was never our intention to hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show we, needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.\u201d<\/p>\n Wilson and Batula said that after years platonically supporting each other \u201cthrough all the highs and lows,\u201d a romantic turn \u201cwas the last thing either of us expected. \u2026 As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n They acknowledged the \u201cimpact beyond just us\u201d and said they never intended \u201cto cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.\u201d<\/p>\n
