Olivia Rodrigo<\/a> is on the press run for her new album, You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love<\/a>, and it\u2019s producing some interesting (read, horrifying) revelations.<\/p>\n

The US pop star appeared on KISS Radio <\/a>where presenters Chloe Burrows and Tyler West asked her to list the things \u201cwrong\u201d with her, inspired by her song with The Cure\u2019s Robert Smith,<\/a> \u201cWhat\u2019s Wrong With Me\u201d.<\/p>\n

As the conversation went on, West then asked Rodrigo, 23, the worst place she\u2019d ever had to relieve herself.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t think of anything for myself but I have been to certain concerts and certain festivals where people wear diapers so that they can be front row of the show, and that\u2019s been an experience as a performer that I have\u2026 smelled.\u201d<\/p>\n

Olivia Rodrigo made the horrifying revelation during a KISS Radio interview (YouTube\/KISS FM)<\/p>\n

Continuing to explain to the shocked hosts, Rodrigo cited the ball drop in New York City\u2019s Times Square on New Year\u2019s Eve as an event where attendees were likely to use diapers.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone is wearing diapers\u2026 they sit there all day,\u201d she said. \u201cI think about it kind of often\u2026 it\u2019s a real thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rodrigo\u2019s new album has received critical praise across the board. The Independent\u2019s five-star review hailed its lavish production <\/a>and the artist\u2019s narration of a relationship from its giddy early days to the eventual breakup and painful aftermath.<\/p>\n

The pop star is also on course to clinch a hat-trick of number one albums in the UK, following her 2023 record Guts and her 2021 debut Sour. <\/p>\n

She could score another chart double if her single \u201cStupid Song\u201d manages to top the Singles chart, having first achieved the feat in 2021 when Sour topped the albums chart at the same time as her track \u201cGood 4 U\u201d was a number one single.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo will return to the UK in 2027 for an eye-watering 11 nights at the O2 Arena in London.<\/p>\n

There are currently no dates announced in any other UK cities, amid criticism towards major artists who are more often opting for \u201cexclusive\u201d residencies over wider touring circuits.<\/p>\n

Pop star Harry Styles<\/a> is currently in the middle of his record-breaking 12-night run at Wembley Stadium<\/a>, while Beyonc\u00e9 chose to do a six-night residency at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last year for her Cowboy Carter tour.<\/p>\n

Industry experts have pointed towards the rising costs of touring as one reason why artists prefer to play longer residencies in one place, while others say it is simply far more lucrative for a band or singer to let fans come to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cArtists really like staying in one place,\u201d an anonymous executive at one of Europe\u2019s biggest concert promoters told The Telegraph<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n
