Kate Middleton<\/a>\u00a0is sharing a look into how she and her family spent their summer vacation.<\/p>\n Princess Kate and\u00a0Prince William<\/a>, both 43,\u00a0paid a visit<\/a>\u00a0to the National Federation of Women’s Institutes in London on Monday, Sept. 8. During their visit, the royal couple enjoyed some baked goods \u2014 including brownies, a favorite of William’s<\/a> \u2014 and spent some time chatting with WI members, who asked a little bit about their children.<\/p>\n Kate said she and her kids \u2014\u00a0Prince George<\/a>, 12,\u00a0Princess Charlotte<\/a>, 10,\u00a0and\u00a0Prince Louis<\/a>, 7 \u2014\u00a0spent their summer “crafting in every corner of the house.”\u00a0She also spoke with the women about her beekeeping hobby and the importance of “making and crafting” in forming community with others.<\/p>\n Getty<\/p>\n Kate Middleton visits Women’s Institute on Sept. 8, 2025<\/p>\n The Princess of Wales has previously shared a bit of her children’s talent for art, posting portraits of her done by all three kids to social media back in February. She shared a look into George, Charlotte and Louis’ developing artistic styles as part of her\u00a0Shaping Us\u00a0initiative from The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which highlights the importance of creative play in child development.<\/p>\n “The\u00a0@earlychildhood<\/a>\u00a0Shaping Us Framework describes the social and emotional skills which start to develop in early childhood,” read the caption of her\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0post. “These skills are key throughout our lives, shaping who we are, how we manage our thoughts and emotions, how we communicate with and relate to others, and how we explore the world around us.”<\/p>\n “Drawing portraits with children can provide a moment of connection as you spend time looking at and focusing on one another, as well as being creative and \u2013 most importantly \u2013 having lots of fun together!” it continued.<\/p>\n Kensington Palace<\/p>\n Portraits of Kate Middleton drawn by her children, Prince George (bottom left), Princess Charlotte (top right) and Prince Louis (top left)<\/p>\n During Monday’s visit, Prince William also shared a bit about the sibling dynamic between his three children. When asked if Prince Louis is “a bit of a handful,” William admitted that\u00a0appearances can be deceiving<\/a>.<\/p>\n “He’s a character, but he’s a very good boy. He likes to wind his brother and sister up,” he said.<\/p>\n The proud father joked that Prince George only appears to be the more\u00a0“sensible” one in public.<\/p>\n “When George is behind closed doors, it’s completely different.
