More than \u20ac10,000 has been raised to help a family in their time of grief, as friends and loved ones pay tribute to a dearly missed mother-of-one.<\/strong><\/p>\n Karolina Komosi\u0144ska, who lived in Cork city<\/a>, tragically died in April, leaving behind a daughter, a sister, a fianc\u00e9 and dozens of friends and family members, who have shared their memories of the “truly beautiful soul.” Karolina was a familiar, friendly face to shoppers at TK Maxx in Cork city, where she worked – and where “she was always smiling and always time for a quick chat.”<\/p>\n Now friends have launched a fundraiser to take collections for Karolina’s family “to help ease the burden in the months and years to come.” The GoFundMe page<\/a>, launched in April, has now surpassed its original goal of \u20ac10,000, with individual donations of up to \u20ac300 pouring in over the last couple of months.<\/p>\n Organiser of the fundraiser, Niamh Garvin, wrote: “Karolina brought light wherever she went. She was full of humour, had an infectious smile, and a vibrant energy that could brighten even the hardest days. She loved her designer brands, carried herself with style and confidence, and was a much-loved presence at TK Maxx, where her warmth was felt by everyone who knew her.”<\/p>\n Karoline was a beloved mother, sister – and friend to many(Image: GoFundMe)<\/p>\n Karolina previously worked at restaurant Scoozi, where she left a similar impression on colleagues and customers alike. A former colleague wrote: “She taught me so much and to not take things too seriously, life is for living! I’m sure she will be missed as her spirit was infectious.”<\/p>\n Another mourner shared: “In the time I knew Karolina she was kind caring and always had her daughters well-being and happiest at the forefront. During her time battling her illness she carried herself with great poise, strength and optimism.”<\/p>\n The team at the De Calf Cafe in Cork city centre also paid tribute, saying: “She was a beautiful person inside and out. She always brought a smile to our faces when she popped in.
