\n\tAfter coming under fire for publicly berating a TV journalist on social media, Paget Brewster<\/a> has deleted the damning post and apologized.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Sunday, the Criminal Minds<\/a>: Evolution actress said she \u201cprofoundly regrets\u201d telling ScreenRant\u2019s Shealyn Scott \u201cyou suck\u201d for her coverage of the show, encouraging her to get a different job.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHi guys, I was mean to Shealyn Scott last night and I profoundly regret it,\u201d wrote Brewster on X<\/a>. \u201cShame on me for insulting a human being for doing their job. I\u2019m very sorry, Shealyn. And I\u2019m sorry to those who follow me that you saw me behave like that. Turns out, last night, I sucked.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBrewster\u2019s apology comes after she the actress insulted Scott for posting \u201cbad pics and bad reviews\u201d of the show, despite the article<\/a> she linked featuring a Paramount-approved still of Brewster.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cHello critic Shealyn Scott,\u201d Brewster\u2019s since-deleted original post read. \u201cYou\u2019re young. You don\u2019t know that bad pics and bad reviews can lead to 350 people losing their jobs. Sell vintage. Work at a shelter. Do something better than what you do now. Because right now you suck.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBrewster\u2019s original post was met with backlash from those defending Scott. \u201cPublicly telling a young woman that she sucks because she wrote an article criticizing the 10 episode structure of Criminal Minds is kinda gross. No Paget Brewster, right now you suck,\u201d one person wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI love Paget so much but this is an insane response to someone just (rightly) criticizing the way shows have all become like 10 eps a season and essentially just saying they want MORE of your show,\u201d another posted<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI know for a fact Paget got tons of hate for playing Prentiss,\u201d another post<\/a> reads. \u201cIt\u2019s evil to treat another young woman the same way.\u201d<\/p>\n
