Patricia Summersett has been the English voice of Princess Zelda since the release of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 2017. Now, she\u2019s commenting on the forthcoming 2027 live-action film based on the franchise and what she hopes for the actress portraying Zelda on the big screen.<\/p>\n

The upcoming film is slated to release on April 30, 2027. In that movie, Bo Bragason will be portraying Princess Zelda alongside Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link. The film\u2019s overall plot and how much it will take from and add to the Zelda universe\u2019s lore remain largely unknown. <\/p>\n
That is what excites Patricia Summersett the most. In an interview with GameXplain, the voice actress said she\u2019s excited to see the film and doesn\u2019t have much advice for Bragason; instead, she wants to congratulate her and hopes she gets to make an impact on the franchise.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m excited to see what the lore is and the sort of flashbacks and like how they give ode to other games or the franchise itself. It\u2019s really hard to tell what they\u2019re going to include in that. It\u2019s going to be incredibly lush for sure and incredibly well thought through and studied\u2026 Obviously, Bo Bragason, she\u2019s going to be incredible. You just know it. So, I\u2019m excited for I don\u2019t know her, and I don\u2019t claim to know her or want to give her any advice except for huge congratulations and like welcome to an incredible fandom. I know what it\u2019s been for me.
