The actress, 40, shared a series of photos to Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, June 21, documenting her experience running the KLM Norte Sur 10K race in Madrid \u2014 including a sweet moment with her 5-year-old daughter, Oonagh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In the main post, Heard beamed in a pink sports bra and matching jogging shorts after crossing the finish line. \u201cFirst race glow \ud83d\udc95\ud83c\uddea\ud83c\uddf8,\u201d she captioned the snap.<\/p>\n

She followed up with two additional photos on her Instagram Stories. One showed a solo selfie of the Aquaman actress<\/a> smiling on race day, while the other captured her cradling Oonagh shortly after finishing the race. \u201cNothing beats this feeling,\u201d Heard wrote across the image in pink lettering.<\/p>\n

Heard, who is also mom to toddler twins, Agnes<\/strong> and Ocean<\/strong>, 12 months, relocated to Spain in 2022 and has since become a familiar face jogging around Madrid. The actress has long credited running as a key part of how she copes with stress.<\/p>\n

\u201cI like running because it\u2019s a way for me to alleviate stress, clear my mind, and refocus,\u201d she told Shape in 2018, People<\/a> reported. \u201cPlus I can do it anywhere. I travel so much that it\u2019s invaluable to me to have something that keeps me healthy and feeling good no matter where I am.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also opened up about her approach to fitness, noting that she tries not to let workouts feel like a chore. \u201cIf you\u2019re not going to enjoy life, there\u2019s no point in eating a certain way and working out and doing all the things actors do to manipulate how we look \u2014 and how the world looks at us,\u201d she said, per the outlet. \u201cWhen I\u2019m not preparing for a movie, I have more freedom, and I incorporate my workout into my life, so that I enjoy it and it doesn\u2019t feel like an obligation.\u201d<\/p>\n
