When it comes to Paris Jackson<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Father\u2019s Day<\/a> tribute, you can\u2019t beat it. <\/p>\n

In honor of the holiday, the \u201cLet Down\u201d singer shared a tribute to some of her favorite father figures, including her late dad Michael Jackson<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy Father\u2019s Day to some of the best dads I know,\u201d Paris wrote in a June 21 Instagram Story<\/a>, alongside a childhood photo of her kissing her dad. \u201cSpam incoming.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, the 28-year-old\u2014sister to Prince Jackson<\/strong>, 29, and Bigi Jackson<\/strong>, 23\u2014followed up her sweet tribute to her dad with other fathers in her life including her godfather Macaulay Culkin<\/strong> and Buffy alum Seth Green<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And while Paris happily shared a sweet glimpse into her bond with her dad, who died in 2009, she has expressed frustration in feeling a look into her family life is \u201cowed\u201d to her father\u2019s fans. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere’s definitely a certain element where I felt I had to share everything,” Paris explained during an appearance on Jack Osbourne<\/strong>\u2019s Trying Not to Die<\/a> podcast last month<\/a>. \u201cAnd that has drastically changed in the last few years, because I don’t really feel like any of us owe anyone anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Indeed, Paris no longer feels obligated to share updates on any part of her life, especially when it comes to grieving her dad.<\/p>\n

“I’m now learning I can have my own personal relationship and I’m allowed to be private about it and I’m now like, my relationship is the most beautiful relationship ever,\u201d she continued. \u201cI’m in a very beautiful spot with my dad and I love that and it’s no one’s business and I don’t have to share that with anybody. And there’s a lot of freedom in that, which is really cool.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cHit Your Knees\u201d singer\u2014who has also opened up about her relationship with her and Prince\u2019s birth mom Debbie Rowe<\/strong>\u2014also feels more comfortable pushing back on the narrative laid out for her. <\/p>\n

\u201cThere was a lot about my upbringing that was silver spoon-esque, but there was so much of it that had to be earned,\u201d she noted. \u201cLike there was very much a focus on developing a work ethic. And so I did see something recently where it’s like, \u2018You don’t have to work,’ and it’s like no, I do. I really do. Because I’m like a shark. If I stop moving, I’ll die.\u201d<\/p>\n

As she put it, \u201cIt makes me happy to move and work and be productive.\u201d<\/p>\n
