\n\tFollowing the premiere of her recent Netflix documentary<\/a>, Kylie Minogue<\/a> will make a return to acting. The pop singer, who started her career in Australian TV shows, is set to star in Jamie Adams\u2019 forthcoming film Tangled Up in Blue. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe movie, named after Bob Dylan<\/a>\u2018s song of the same name from his 1975 album Blood on the Tracks, will also star filmmaker Quentin Tarantino<\/a>, who seems to be doing anything but directing his final feature<\/a>. Minogue and Tarantino spotted at a restaurant in the Welsh town of Porthcawl, where they reportedly shot<\/a> several scenes. <\/p>\n

\n\tTangled Up in Blue also stars Jason Isaacs<\/a>, Allison Williams, Sofia Boutella, and RZA<\/a>, along with Welsh actors Julian Lewis Jones, Craig Russell, Siwan Morris, and Karen Paullada, as confirmed by Variety<\/a>. Tarantino appeared in Adams\u2019 last film, Only What We Carry. Adams\u00a0told\u00a0Variety\u00a0he cold-pitched Tarantino<\/a>\u00a0the part of a wealthy benefactor in the movie. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI sent him the story outline and a letter,\u201d Adams said. \u201cI was just very honest about believing in him as an actor. Improvisation, the way I use it, is about being present and reacting organically. He\u2019s one of the greatest conversational storytellers. I thought that would be incredible in character. I didn\u2019t think I\u2019d hear back. But two weeks later, on a Sunday, his agent emailed saying Quentin was intrigued and wanted a Zoom.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTarantino has been in the U.K. to prepare his first West End play,\u00a0The Popinjay Cavalier, which will open in early 2027. The filmmaker will supposedly only make one more film, but said last year he\u2019s taking his time. \u201cI\u2019m in no hurry to actually jump into production,\u201d Tarantino confirmed at Sundance in 2025. He added of the play, \u201cIf it\u2019s a fiasco I probably won\u2019t turn it into a movie. But if it\u2019s a smash hit? It might be my last movie.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMinogue\u2019s role as Charlene in Australian soap\u00a0Neighbours\u00a0originally help to propel her to stardom.
