Their catalogue includes more than a dozen albums, 40 singles, and some of the UK\u2019s greatest hits.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">While there have been 13 different members of The Cure in the band\u2019s 47 years, five of those will be performing at Marlay Park: Robert Smith, Simon Gallup, Jason Cooper, Roger O\u2019Donnell, and Reeves Gabrels. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Heading to the gig? Read below for everything you need to know.<\/p>\n<p>When and where is it?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The Cure will be performing at Marlay Park on Friday, June 26th. <\/p>\n<p>What time should I arrive? <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Gates for both gigs open at 4pm, with the show scheduled to start at 5pm. Early queuing is not allowed, so aim to arrive from 4pm onwards. Last entry is at 9.30pm.<\/p>\n<p>Who is playing?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The Cure will be joined by four special guests. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The Twilight Sad, a Scottish post-punk and indie rock band, will perform with its existing duo consisting of founding members James Graham and Andy MacFarlane. Notorious for their loud live performances, The Twilight Sad gained a cult following after their 2007 debut album, Fourteen Autumns &amp; Fifteen Winters. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">They will be joined by Irish experimental rock band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/just-mustard\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/just-mustard\/\">Just Mustard<\/a>. The Dundalk band released their sophomore album Heart Under in 2022 and entered the Irish charts. Since then the band have gained a cult following. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The final  support act will be Stella and the Dreaming. The Waterford singer-songwriter was featured in Hot Press\u2019s Hot For 2026: Irish Acts To Watch This Year and writes all of her ethereal music in her garage on her stripped back piano. Organisers advise giving yourself an additional three hours\u2019 travel time to compensate. It is possible to drive to the venue, but it is recommended you walk or use public transport.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \"><b>Travel by bus: <\/b>Marathon Group is running return bus services, including Dublin city centre shuttle buses and can be booked <a href=\"https:\/\/marathongroup.ie\/collections\/buses-to-the-cure-at-marlay-park\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/marathongroup.ie\/collections\/buses-to-the-cure-at-marlay-park\">here<\/a>. Diversions will be in place on Dublin Bus routes 14, 16 and 74 as a result of the concert; full information is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportforireland.ie\/events\/the-cure-concert-at-marlay-park-dublin-fri-26-jun-2026\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.transportforireland.ie\/events\/the-cure-concert-at-marlay-park-dublin-fri-26-jun-2026\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \"><b>Travel by Luas: <\/b>The green line to Broombridge stops at Dundrum and Balally, both of which are about a 45-minute walk from Marlay Park. If you head to Dundrum you can then use the Marathon shuttle-coach service by booking here.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \"><b>Travel by car:<\/b> Car parking is available at Marlay Park, but it is extremely limited and must be booked in advance <a href=\"https:\/\/www.evntz.ie\/events\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.evntz.ie\/events\">here<\/a>. The car-park entrance is on College Road, accessed via Whitechurch Road.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The recommended drop-off and collection point if you\u2019re getting a lift is in the SuperValu car park on Ballinteer Avenue. Some of the roads surrounding the park will be closed. <\/p>\n<p>Are any tickets left?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">At the time of writing, there are limited amount of resale tickets available on Ticketmaster <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ticketmaster.ie\/the-cure-dublin-26-06-2026\/event\/1800633DA261CE72\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ticketmaster.ie\/the-cure-dublin-26-06-2026\/event\/1800633DA261CE72\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Make sure you download your ticket to your phone in advance of the gig, as internet connectivity can be an issue and screenshots may not work on the day.<\/p>\n<p>What is security like? <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Under-16s must be accompanied at all times by a parent or guardian aged 25 or over to be permitted entry. You are advised to bring an official form of identification to verify your age, be it a passport, Garda age card or driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Security checks will be in operation on the way into the park. Bags will be searched, and bags larger than A4 size will not be allowed into the event. Among the prohibited items at Marlay Park are umbrellas, alcohol, e-scooters\/e-bikes, flares, flag poles, disposable vapes and gas canisters.<\/p>\n<p>Can I bring cash?<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">All bars in the venue will be cashless.
