KUALA LUMPUR: TNG Digital Sdn Bhd, the operator of the TNG eWallet, has launched its first Islamic financing offering, ASB Financing, in collaboration with CIMB.<\/p>\n
In a statement today, TNG Digital said that through a more convenient and integrated financing experience within TNG eWallet, users can now participate in Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) investments<\/p>\n
via structured monthly commitments instead of relying on substantial upfront savings.<\/p>\n
It said that bumiputera users already make up 70 per cent\u00a0of TNG eWallet\u2019s Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd\u00a0(ASNB) investor base and contribute 52 per cent\u00a0of total investment value on the platform, signalling\u00a0strong demand for accessible investment and wealth-building solutions within this segment.<\/p>\n
TNB Digital chief financial services\u00a0Desmond Teoh\u00a0said the launch marked an important step in broadening the range of financial solutions available through\u00a0the e-wallet\u2019s\u00a0GOfinance feature.<\/p>\n
“The strong adoption of ASNB investments on our platform clearly reflects growing interest in accessible and digitally connected\u00a0wealth-building solutions among Malaysians,\u201d he added.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Since\u00a0the integration of ASNB in 2023, TNG Digital said\u00a0TNG eWallet has continued to see growing adoption of digital\u00a0investment services, with a 44 per cent\u00a0year-on-year growth in users actively investing through the\u00a0platform as of May 2026.<\/p>\n
