Sister Wives alum Leon Brown<\/strong><\/a>, the only child of Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> and Meri Brown<\/strong><\/a>, was called out after sharing a TikTok<\/a> video that some followers called \u201chypocritical.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI grew up in a cult and then on TV when I was 14. And I\u2019ve been trying to share my story,\u201d Leon, 30, shared on Wednesday, June 24. \u201cI posted a video a few weeks ago just expressing my desire to share my own story<\/a>, before I do that I want to set some boundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leon \u2014 who goes by they\/them pronouns<\/a> \u2014 continued, \u201cTo start, I have gotten some comments, sort of pushy comments, being like, \u2018When are you going to post this?\u2019 I just want to make it clear \u2014 no one is entitled to my story. No one is entitled to my time<\/a>. Anything I share is something I want to share. I\u2019m doing this on my own timeline.\u201d<\/p>\n

Leon went on to express that they are uncomfortable when fans of the TLC series approach them in public. \u201cI\u2019m not out in public to be people\u2019s entertainment, or to be consumed by people. I\u2019m out in public to live my life,\u201d they added. \u201cSo if you see me out, don\u2019t come say hi.\u201d<\/p>\n

Followers were quick to call out the former reality star\u2019s \u201cenergy\u201d in the video.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs someone who\u2019s watched every episode of Sister Wives since 2010 \u2013 I probably won\u2019t scroll past. But your words & energy don\u2019t match. Words: I\u2019m private. Energy: see me,\u201d yet another commented.<\/p>\n

The negativity did not seem to affect Leon\u2019s mood, however, as they captioned the post, \u201cDon\u2019t make it weird, yall. I\u2019m liberal with the block button\u2026 being respectful takes nothing from you<\/a>. I want to share and I will, but y\u2019all better behave.\u201d<\/p>\n
