\"Akshay Akshay Kumar<\/a> has often spoken about how his wife, author and former actor Twinkle Khanna<\/a> are like chalk and cheese. They are very different from each other and the actor also says that she is his harshest critic. The actor recently opened up on it more while promoting his upcoming film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, and revealed that nobody’s opinion carries weight for him, as much as Twinkle’s opinion does. Akshay was asked who critiques his work the most honestly. Without missing a beat, he pointed to his wife and described her reviews as mercilessly candid.\u201cShe\u2019s brutal. Brutal means brutal is nothing. She can kill me anytime. You can\u2019t say anything,\u201d Akshay said with a laugh in an interview with Bombay Times Lounge. The actor then shared a rare moment that left him particularly delighted. While dubbing for another project, he received an unexpected message from Twinkle appreciating the trailer of one of his upcoming films.\u201cI told Priyadarshan sir, \u2018Today I\u2019m very happy.\u2019 He asked me why, and I said, \u2018My wife has sent me a message saying she loved the trailer,’\u201d Akshay shared.Akshay said that compliments from his wife Twinkle are few and far between, which is why the message meant so much to him. \u201cThese messages don\u2019t come often,\u201d Akshay admitted. \u201cI\u2019ve done many films, and when she watches them, she goes straight to saying, \u2018What is this?’\u201dThe candid confession drew laughter from the audience, with Akshay further explaining that Twinkle never sugarcoats her opinions, regardless of how successful a film eventually becomes. Even when a movie performs well at the box office, she continues to stand by her original assessment if she doesn’t like it.Over the years, Akshay and Twinkle have frequently given fans a glimpse into their relationship through interviews, public appearances and social media, often showcasing their trademark mix of honesty, humour and playful banter.On the work front, Akshay is gearing up for the release of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, the latest installment in the popular ‘Welcome’ franchise.
