This comes following its latest success, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/toy-story-5\/\" id=\"auto-tag_toy-story-5\" data-tag=\"toy-story-5\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Toy Story 5<\/a>,\u00a0which was the second-best opening for a Pixar animated movie ever with $312M worldwide. The Andrew Stanton-directed movie currently stands at north of $367M WW.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tIn addition, Disney has had global cash from such movies as 20th Century Studios\u2019 The Devil Wears Prada 2 ($677.6M, taking the franchise past $1B), Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu (despite its relatively low gross, it made more than $323M), Pixar\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/hoppers\/\" id=\"auto-tag_hoppers\" data-tag=\"hoppers\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Hoppers<\/a> ($372M), 20th Century Studios\u2019 Send Help ($94M) and the carryover success of 2025\u2019s Avatar: Fire and Ash and Zootopia 2. All of Disney\u2019s 2026 theatrical releases opened at No. 1.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDisney has the been the world\u2019s No. 1 studio in nine of the past 10 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tAnd it\u2019s not over yet for Disney, with upcoming theatrical releases being Disney live-action\u00a0Moana (July 10), 20th Century Studios\u2019 Ridley Scott-directed\u00a0The Dog Stars (August 28), Walt\u00a0Disney Animation Studios\u2019\u00a0Hexed\u00a0(November 25) and Marvel Studios\u2019<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Avengers: Doomsday on December 18.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOn Wednesday out of CineEurope, the studio shared its plans with <a data-id=\"1236966128\" data-type=\"post\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/06\/avengers-endgame-re-release-retitle-disney-infinity-vision-1236966128\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the ramp-up of Infinity Vision<\/a>, a new certification it is issuing to exhibitors\u2019 PLF screens ahead of the re-release of Marvel Studios\u2019 newly retitled Avengers: Endgame Encore (September 25) and Avengers: Doomsday.
