A man, 90s, has died after the vehicle he was travelling in struck a parked car in Co. Laois on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The collision <\/a>occurred on the R433, Tullyroe, Abbeyleix at approximately 10:05am.<\/p>\n Gardai received reports that a moving vehicle left the road and struck a second car, which was parked at the time.<\/p>\n The male driver of the first car was conveyed to Midland Regional Hospital Portlaoise, where he was later pronounced deceased.<\/p>\n The coroner has been notified.<\/p>\n The second car was unoccupied at the time. No other injuries were reported at the time.<\/p>\n The road was closed for technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators <\/a>and has since reopened.<\/p>\n Garda\u00ed are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.<\/p>\n Road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R433 near Tullyroe, Abbeyleix, Co.
