French media \u200breported the trainees were a group of nurses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">A witness who declined to be identified \u2060told Reuters the plane was climbing at around 11am local \u200ctime (10am Irish time) when \u200bthe engine noise suddenly stopped, as if it had cut out. The crash \u200boccurred in a residential area near a shopping centre, with the \u2060wreckage of the single-engine plane sitting \u2060on \u200ba bike path.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">\u201cGive or take a few meters and the accident could have caused collateral casualties,\u201d Seguy said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph free \">Media reports said the aircraft was registered in Germany.
