Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen<\/a> have been carefully avoiding the spotlight for years. However, the twins recently made a rare joint appearance at their brother Trent’s wedding to Alexis Armistead. The Full House stars were pictured in a group photo<\/a> on Alexis’s Instagram, posing with the bride and groom along with other family members, including Ashley\u2019s husband Louis Eisner, their younger sister, actress Elizabeth Olsen, and her husband, Robbie Arnett. Also present were the Olsens’s half-siblings, Courtney and Jake Olsen.<\/p>\n Mary-Kate and Ashley made their last public appearance in 2025. Mary-Kate and Ashley appeared to stick to an all-black wedding guest dress code\u2014which, luckily, perfectly matched their signature understated style. The twins, who stood next to the bride in the photo, both matched in long black gowns, one with structured shoulders and a high neckline, the other with a plunging V-neck. Both wore their hair in their go-to long blonde waves.<\/p>\n Mary-Kate and Ashley on stage at the CFDA Fashion Awards in 2019. Mary-Kate and Ashley were last spotted together in May<\/a>, when they stepped out for a rare outing in New York City in coordinated minimalist looks featuring oversized scarves and handbags from their brand The Row<\/a>.<\/p>\n Back in November, the twins appeared together at the CDFA Fashion Awards<\/a>\u2014once again in all-black\u2014where they accepted an award for their work on The Row.<\/p>\n A month earlier, the pair made another infrequent joint public appearance\u2014their first in three years<\/a>\u2014attending a W Magazine party during New York Fashion Week.<\/p>\n As the twins explained to i-D in 2021, per Business Insider<\/a>, they are “discreet people” these days\u2014and their preference for privacy often influences their iconic pared-down style. “I think that potentially that’s just our aesthetic, our design preference,” Ashley said. “But that doesn’t mean that we don’t also appreciate something truly ornate or maximal.”<\/p>\n Elizabeth and Ashley Olsen in September 2025.
