Hollyoaks’ Donny Clark will be forced to confront a dark secret from his past in a new blackmailing storyline.

The police officer recently cheated on fianc\u00e9e Misbah Maalik with Clare Devine-Banks. After Clare’s attempts to blackmail Donny fail, she turns to her grandfather Froggy Black, who insists he can take care of it. <\/p>\n

What to Read Next<\/p>\n

In scenes airing next week, Froggy assures his granddaughter he has some dirt on Donny<\/a> he will use so the policeman will destroy the evidence against her and Grace.<\/p>\n

We’ll have to wait and see what Donny’s secret is, but it has the potential to tear his family apart.<\/p>\n

Later on, Donny finds DI Bolton’s security pass at Jez Blake’s allotment. <\/p>\n

The detective was killed by Jez in previous scenes, though the serial killer made it look like his daughter Sienna was responsible.<\/p>\n

Learning it was Bolton’s pass that was used to get in the evidence room, Dodger Savage is convinced Sienna must be behind the fire. <\/p>\n

Previously speaking about his character, Donny star Louis Emerick hinted at an old acquaintance making a dramatic reappearance in the policeman’s life, with all clues pointing to Froggy. <\/p>\n

“There is maybe somebody from his past\u2026” he told Digital Spy<\/strong> at this year’s Inside Soap Awards<\/a>. “Maybe things might be getting resurrected there and we’ll see what happens there.” <\/p>\n

These scenes will air next week.<\/p>\n

Hollyoaks airs on Mondays-Wednesdays with its Channel 4 streaming<\/a> premiere at 7am, then an E4 broadcast the same night at 7pm. Full episodes are also released on YouTube a week after their Channel 4 release.<\/strong><\/p>\n
