Daniel Levy\u2019s departure from Tottenham has sent shockwaves around the Premier League in recent days.<\/strong><\/p>\n The Spurs chief has called time on his involvement with the club after a 25-year stint in the hierarchy, and his departure has resulted in heavy speculation of a potential takeover. <\/p>\n ENIC remain adamant that Tottenham are not for sale<\/a> under any circumstances, but it still looks likely to be something of a transition period for the North Londoners. <\/p>\n Levy\u2019s<\/a> exit marks the end of an era in N17, and there are undoubtedly mixed feelings surrounding his tenure in charge. <\/p>\n Levy has been a controversial figure at Tottenham<\/a> over the years, as plenty of fans point to his lack of willingness to spend money and occasional transfer failings as something that has held the club back. <\/p>\n He has overseen existential progress off the pitch and in the running of the club, but the footballing side of things has often left a lot to be desired. <\/p>\n The 63-year-old rounded off his time in charge with a trophy as Spurs tasted Europa League glory back in May, but there has always been a sense that more could have been achieved. <\/p>\n Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham<\/a> \u2013 speaking exclusively to Tottenham News<\/strong> \u2013 believes that Spurs could have won Premier League<\/a> titles under Levy if he had stretched their capabilities a little further. <\/p>\n \u201cHe did establish us back in European football and the exponential growth of the club to where it is now.
