Man of Tomorrow<\/strong> might introduce a Justice League<\/strong> member to the DCU<\/strong>. The Superman sequel arrives in theaters next year and will see the Man of Steel battle Brainiac.<\/p>\n

Which Justice League hero will reportedly appear in Man of Tomorrow?<\/p>\n

According to scooper MyTimeToShineHello<\/a>, Martian Manhunter could appear in Man of Tomorrow. This remains only a rumor, as DC Studios has not officially announced the character\u2019s involvement in Man of Tomorrow.<\/p>\n

If true, this wouldn\u2019t be the first time that J\u2019onn J\u2019onzz has appeared in a live-action DC film. Harry Lennix\u2019s Martian Manhunter previously featured in Zack Snyder\u2019s Justice League, marking the character\u2019s first live-action appearance in a feature film.<\/p>\n

James Gunn, who is directing Man of Tomorrow, had previously hinted at Martian Manhunter in a social media post. He also debunked a popular theory about a character in Peacemaker secretly playing Martian Manhunter. Before the DCU or Zack Snyder\u2019s DCEU films, the character was planned to appear in George Miller\u2019s canceled film Justice League: Mortal.<\/p>\n

Martian Manhunter\/J\u2019onn J\u2019onzz debuted in DC Comics in 1955\u2019s Detective Comics #225. As the name suggests, the alien hails from Mars and can shapeshift. He has been a founding member of the Justice League in the comics and other projects, including the DC Animated Universe.<\/p>\n

Regardless of whether J\u2019onzz appears in Man of Tomorrow, the film will bring together many other superheroes in the DC universe. This includes Milly Alcock\u2019s Supergirl, Aaron Pierre\u2019s Green Lantern, and Lex Luthor in a comic-accurate enhanced supersuit.<\/p>\n
