Samsung has released an update for one of Good Lock\u2019s modules, NavStar. It carries version 9.0.00.11<\/strong>. According to the changelog, it makes the app compatible with the brand\u2019s latest Android skin, One UI 9.0<\/a> (Android 17). It was something that the owners of devices running the new software, which at the moment is only the Galaxy S26<\/a> series, had been waiting for (via<\/a> S M A Sithick).\n<\/p>\n

From what we could gather, the company is rolling out the update only to devices running One UI 9.0, globally. You can get it in two ways. First, go to Good Lock > Plugins<\/strong>, and in the listing for NavStar, tap on the update icon. Second, open the Galaxy Store, select the icon with three horizontal lines, tap on Updates<\/strong>, and select the update icon or the Update all<\/strong> button.\n<\/p>\n

Samsung unveiled One UI 9.0 in May by releasing its beta version for the Galaxy S26 series. A couple of days later, the brand detailed<\/a> which Good Lock modules work with it and which don\u2019t. There were eight plugins that didn\u2019t support the new software.\n<\/p>\n

Since then, the company has released updates for five of those modules, including NavStar, to make them support One UI 9.0.
