Artists have transformed walls in a town centre with two new large-scale murals.<\/p>\n
Luke Smile\u2019s work is on the side of Dover Kebab House, opposite The Art Club caf\u00e9 and bar near Market Square.<\/p>\n

It features bold typography inspired by a youthful, future-oriented theme.<\/p>\n
Gregg Stobbs\u2019 illustration is on the side of the Dover Sea Angling Association building opposite the Norman Street car park.<\/p>\n
It blends Dover\u2019s heritage, countryside and coastline in a contemporary style.<\/p>\n
The decorations have already been well received by the locals.<\/p>\n
All 60 comments on the Dover District Councul (DDC) Facebook page in just over a day, up to this afternoon (Saturday). praised the effort.<\/p>\n
One person commented: \u201cA million miles away from graffiti…..nice and bright, town needs a bit of colour.\u201d<\/p>\n

While another added: \u201cThey\u2019ve brought some much-needed colour to the town.\u201d<\/p>\n
A third wrote: \u201cLooks great. More of the same for dilapidated parts of Dover please.\u201d<\/p>\n
This project was made possible through collaboration between town centre partners.<\/p>\n
These included DDC, Dover Town Council, the arts and environment group Future Foundry, the Port of Dover authority, The Art Club plus the property owners who allowed the artwork on their buildings.<\/p>\n
