A new rumor has revealed how much screen time two iconic characters will get in Avengers: Doomsday\u2019s opening sequence.<\/p>\n

According to @MyTimeToShineHello<\/a> on X (formerly Twitter), \u201cHugh Jackman\u2019s Wolverine and Tobey Maguire\u2019s Spider-Man will reportedly have 3 minutes of screen time before being killed.\u201d The scooper shared the claim on July 6, quickly sparking widespread discussion among fans.<\/p>\n

The same insider source previously revealed key details about the multiversal opening battle. In February, the scooper\u00a0stated<\/a>, \u201cIn Avengers Doomsday, Deadpool and Wolverine are sent to Tobey\u2019s Earth to destroy it.\u201d The source additionally teased an \u201cEPIC Tobey\u2019s Spider-Man vs Wolverine fight that ends in tragedy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prior reports from Nerdrotic at Night offered further insight into the sequence\u2019s massive scope. The livestream\u00a0claimed<\/a> that Maguire\u2019s Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus battle the Fox X-Men on Tobey\u2019s Earth. That same report further alleged that the Fox X-Men ultimately destroy Maguire\u2019s Spider-Man.<\/p>\n

Still, not every scooper agrees on how the opening sequence plays out. Alex Perez of\u00a0The Cosmic Circus<\/a> pushed back on those claims and maintained that Maguire\u2019s Spider-Man survives the film. These contradicting accounts continue to fuel debate about the character\u2019s true fate in the movie.<\/p>\n

Further rumors indicate that the opening battle ends with the total destruction of Tobey Maguire\u2019s Earth. Both Maguire and Jackman reportedly return for CGI-enhanced sequences throughout the scene.
