Now the Rochestown-based shop is expanding even further &#8211; opening a cosy caf\u00e9 in Monkstown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The caf\u00e9, set to launch in the coming weeks, will be called The Cinnamon Cottage Caf\u00e9. Co-owners Ali Crowley and Patrick O\u2019Riordan joked: &#8220;No masterminds here when choosing the name. But you know what they say, if it ain\u2019t broke!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The caf\u00e9 will occupy the former site of the Napoli pizza and coffee spot on Castle Terrace, a scenic location close to where Cork Harbour feeds into the River Lee. The team added: &#8220;We can\u2019t wait to welcome you all through the doors of our new waterside caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;From our bakery roots in Rochestown to this beautiful new seaside location, we can\u2019t wait to bring everything you know and love, homemade bakes, great coffee, fresh lunches and warm welcomes to the heart of Monkstown village.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Monkstown&#8217;s Napoli Coffee and Wine Bar <a aria-label=\"closed its doors in JanuaryLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.corkbeo.ie\/news\/local-news\/popular-cork-coffee-pizza-spot-33204347\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">closed its doors in January<\/a> after nearly 15 years of business. Outgoing owner Jessica Lane said the move was a difficult decision &#8211; but that she hoped that the &#8220;perfect&#8221; person would soon come along to continue serving the community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">That hope has now been realised, as Ali and Patrick work around the clock to get the new caf\u00e9 up and running by the end of July.
