As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy,\u201d a synopsis from Paramount+ stated on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHardy\u2019s continued role as Da Souza remains in the air after <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/mobland-tom-hardy-fired-pierce-brosnan-helen-mirren-1236606437\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/mobland-tom-hardy-fired-pierce-brosnan-helen-mirren-1236606437\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">his on-set behavior <\/a>on the second season looks to have spooked producers. Hardy had apparently clashed with producers, including executive producer Jez Butterworth and others at David Glasser\u2019s 101 Studios, the production company behind\u00a0MobLand, which is filmed across the U.K.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMobLand has yet to be officially renewed for a third season by the streamer, with production expected to resume later this year if that happens. Hardy plays the fixer for a powerful organized crime family headed up by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/helen-mirren-many-projects-thoughts-on-retiring-interview-1236345423\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Helen Mirren<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Pierce Brosnan as two mob families clash in a war that threatens to topple empires and lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMobLand\u00a0also stars Paddy Considine (House of the Dragon), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey), Lara Pulver (Da Vinci\u2019s Demons), Anson Boon (Pistol), Mandeep Dhillon (CSI: Vegas), Jasmine Jobson (Top Boy), Geoff Bell (Top Boy), Daniel Betts (Fate: The Winx Saga), Lisa Dwan (Blackshore) and Emily Barber (Industry).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tMobLand is commissioned by Paramount+ and produced in association with Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
