According to a report by Robshuter<\/a>, Ellen DeGeneres might have adopted a new name, Eli, after leaving Hollywood and the United States.<\/p>\n

The outlet claims that one of the friends of the renowned comedian said, \u201cEli is lighter, freer, and finally living without the weight of carrying a billion-dollar brand.\u201d Another insider shared insights about the life of DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi in the United Kingdom. The insider conveyed, \u201cPeople here love them. Eli is approachable, grounded, and happy. No entourage. No pressure. Just life.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for a comeback in the entertainment business, a friend of DeGeneres claimed to the outlet, \u201cFor the first time in years, they\u2019re truly content. This isn\u2019t about performing. It\u2019s about peace.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whether DeGeneres has really made the move to change her name has not been confirmed by the retired talk show host.<\/p>\n

DeGeneres has been living in the United Kingdom with her wife for nearly a year now. According to a report by the BBC<\/a>, DeGeneres spoke about her decision with broadcaster Richard Bacon at the Everyman theater in July 2025 and said, \u201cWe got here the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, \u2018He got in\u2019.
