The Irish airline took to X after user, Toby said he was &#8220;disgusted&#8221; by his position <a aria-label=\"in the cabinLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/news\/irish-news\/ryanair-passengers-warned-over-cabin-37410480\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">in the cabin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Paid for a window seat Ryanair,&#8221; he wrote in a post alongside a snap of his predicament. &#8220;Absolutely disgusting.&#8221; In the photo, which has been viewed more than 6.4 million times, Toby could be seen glancing to his left at the plane&#8217;s sidewall panel, with a window just in shot <a aria-label=\"over his shoulderLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/lifestyle\/travel\/stop-ryanair-allocating-you-middle-37412674\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">over his shoulder<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Writing in response, one X user claimed: &#8220;No, you didn\u2019t pay for a window seat. You paid for a seat on the window side of the plane.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Content cannot be displayed without consent<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A second person quipped: &#8220;This is why you use seat maps. This one tricks a lot of folks.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A third commented: &#8220;No you didn\u2019t and I\u2019m sure you can manage a couple of hours without needing to see out the window.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">While a fourth pointed out: &#8220;This is the famous Row 11 (or 12 depending on the Boeing 737 model). It\u2019s practically an internet heritage site at this point. You should feel honoured to sit in a meme history location.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Ryanair, meanwhile, hilariously reposted Toby&#8217;s tweet adding a large red arrow to his image pointing to the window behind him. &#8220;Hope this helps,&#8221; they said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Others told Toby he&#8217;d had a lucky escape, however, <a aria-label=\"after it emergedLink opens in a new tab.\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.irishmirror.ie\/news\/world-news\/horror-ryanair-passenger-greece-flight-37414231\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_blank\">after it emerged<\/a> another passenger on a Ryanair flight from Greece had been reportedly partially &#8216;sucked&#8217; out of a shattered window as his wife gripped onto him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;Nah, this ain&#8217;t it,&#8221; an X user told Ryanair. &#8220;The best time to delete this post was when you posted it; The second-best time was now.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The man reportedly required medical treatment on Friday (July 10) after the horror incident mid-flight.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">The incident occurred aboard a Boeing 737-800 travelling from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen, Germany, with reports that the male passenger was pulled through the opening up to his shoulders, leaving his head outside the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">In a statement, Ryanair said: &#8220;A Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki to Memmingen on Friday morning (10 July) returned to Thessaloniki shortly after take-off when a passenger window dislodged inflight. The aircraft landed normally and passengers returned to the terminal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">&#8220;One passenger requested and received medical assistance on the ground in Thessaloniki.
