\n\tWe\u2019re getting a first look at Peacock<\/a>\u2019s Friday the 13th sequel series Crystal Lake<\/a>, which arrives Oct. 15 on the streamer.<\/p>\n

\n\tFrom A24 and creator Brad Caleb Kane, Crystal Lake stars Linda Cardellini<\/a> as Pam Voorhees, a single mother who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWhen two strangers arrive at Pam\u2019s door digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees?\u201d the plot synopsis teases.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe curse on Crystal Lake is traced back to Jason\u2019s previous drowning as a group sits around a campfire in the dark. The legend begins with Cardellini\u2019s Voorhees, as something still lurks in the woods, only knowing how to kill.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe time has come, so let out a cheer,\u201d a creepy childrens\u2019 chorus chants at the opening of the teaser clip released earlier today. The whole image turns red as a gruesomely shrouded body is wheeled out on a stretcher, dark hair cascading down the side.<\/p>\n

\n\tAll eight episodes of the horror series will premiere the same date in October. Each episode is around an hour long. Alongside Cardellini, series regulars include William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins and Gwendolyn Sundstrom. Recurring cast includes Callum Vinson,\u00a0Nick Cordileone, Joy\u00a0Suprano, Danielle Kotch, Phoenix Parnevik.<\/p>\n

\n\tExecutive producers include Brad Caleb Kane, Marc\u00a0Toberoff, Victor Miller, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, Stuart\u00a0Manashil, Tyson Bidner, Michael Lennox and Roy Lee. Michael Lennox directed the first three episodes. Celine Held and Logan George directed episodes 104-106. Quyen Tran directed the penultimate and finale episodes.<\/p>\n
