Nebius (NASDAQ: NBIS) announced<\/a> Wednesday that infrastructure partners can deploy its full-stack AI cloud platform inside their own data centers, expanding the capacity available to Nebius customers. <\/p>\n

Nebius described the structure as asset-light. Partners finance and own the facilities and hardware, allowing Nebius to add compute capacity without funding the full infrastructure cost. <\/p>\n

Nebius said it has signed initial arrangements under the model. It did not identify the partners or disclose their locations, planned capacity, financial terms or expected revenue. <\/p>\n

Partners provide the physical infrastructure <\/p>\n

Potential partners range from data-center developers and infrastructure investors to regional operators and national AI projects. They would prepare facilities to Nebius standards, run the data centers and oversee the installed hardware once deployment is complete. <\/p>\n

Nebius will provide its systems architecture, supply-chain access, hardware design, cloud software and services stack. Its global sales organization will connect that capacity with customers, while Nebius remains responsible for the software and service levels. <\/p>\n

Partner facilities will join capacity from Nebius-owned data centers and colocations in a common pool. Nebius said customers should receive the same service standard regardless of who owns the underlying infrastructure. <\/p>\n

“Our new asset-light model gives infrastructure partners a flexible way to benefit from the explosive growth of AI,” founder and CEO Arkady Volozh said. “Our software allows partners to reach a much wider customer base with much better margins than conventional wholesale bare-metal contracts.” <\/p>\n

Commercial structures could include revenue sharing, licensing fees, commissions or committed-capacity agreements. Nebius said the model could generate high-margin revenue with little incremental capital, although it provided no financial targets or deployment schedule. <\/p>\n

Nebius expands beyond company-owned sites <\/p>\n

The partnership model supplements Nebius’s direct infrastructure expansion. Contracted power increased<\/a> from more than 2 gigawatts at the end of 2025 to more than 3.5 gigawatts in the first quarter of 2026, with a target of at least 4 gigawatts during 2026. <\/p>\n

NVIDIA agreed in March to invest<\/a> $2 billion in Nebius through a strategic partnership. Nebius plans to bring more than 5 gigawatts of capacity online by the end of 2030. <\/p>\n

The new structure differs from Nebius’s multiyear agreement with Microsoft<\/a>, which covers dedicated AI infrastructure at a new site in Vineland, New Jersey.
