Lisa Rinna<\/a> is sharing the details from a “cautionary tale” involving her and Harry Hamlin<\/a>‘s youngest daughter, Amelia Gray Hamlin<\/a>.\u00a0The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/a>\u00a0alum and her husband recently detailed a past health scare involving their model daughter and how they navigated that chapter.<\/p>\n

Lisa and Harry took to their podcast<\/a> on Sept. 5, where Lisa revealed to Harry that “in the teenage years…when everyone was like 19-ish, there was some nipple piercing going on” for Amelia and her older sister, Delilah Belle Hamlin<\/a>. Lisa went on to share the scary story that happened with “Miss Amelia at Coachella.”<\/p>\n

“Amelia had a nipple piercing somewhere. I don’t know if it was both; it was probably both. And they were at Coachella<\/a>, and ironically, she was at a party where Erika Jayne<\/a> was DJing,” she explained. “It’s a true story.”<\/p>\n

“And she was like, up on a balcony, somebody pushed her, kind of like, pushing forward, and her boob went into a bush and it like, jammed the nipple into the boob, and then she came home that night, and all of a sudden, she had a super high fever…and we did not know what to do,” she continued.<\/p>\n

Lisa admitted that they had brought her to the hospital, where she got an X-ray and saw an infectious disease doctor. “She had sepsis. Sepsis in her fricking boob,” she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“She punctured something when she went into the bush,” Lisa added. “She had sepsis and had to be on IV antibiotics for a week. No, it was actually very dangerous, guys, it was dangerous.”<\/p>\n

“So there’s another cautionary tale. Don’t get a nipple ring,” Harry said.<\/p>\n

Amelia Gray Hamlin on being a “nepo baby” and her modeling career<\/p>\n

As fans know, Lisa is always\u00a0so\u00a0supportive of her daughter’s modeling career<\/a>. And, Amelia, now 24, is very\u00a0grateful for her well-known parents. She appeared on the podcast<\/a>,\u00a0The Run Through with Vogue, in March 2025, where she opened up about her success in modeling, while acknowledging her parents, who are famous actors.<\/p>\n

She revealed that she achieved one of her dreams when she walked in a haute couture fashion show<\/a> in 2023. “But that being said, I think there were dreams that almost felt too far away, if that makes sense,” she said. “I’m very well aware of the fact that I’m a nepo baby, and I’m extremely grateful for that. I’m aware of everything that I am, but couture was just never something I thought I would be accepted into.”<\/p>\n

“My dad always said, ‘If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,” she added.<\/p>\n

She continued, opening up about her relationship with Lisa. “She’s my BFF,” she explained. “I am so grateful to have her as a mother in this life. And I truly do believe that I chose her…I chose this woman to be my mom. But side note, my dad doesn’t get enough credit and he’s great, too.”<\/p>\n
