Democratic<\/a> politicians in the US<\/a> released a 238-page scrapbook given to disgraced late financier Jeffrey Epstein<\/a> for his 50th birthday, with contributions attributed to high-profile figures including Donald Trump<\/a>, Bill Clinton<\/a> and former UK ambassador to Washington Peter Mandelson<\/a>.<\/p>\n Much of the book seems to be a collection of flattering and celebratory letters \u2013 often highly sexualised \u2013 from people who knew Epstein. They include photos of him embracing women in bikinis, and others showing scenes featuring wild animals having sex.<\/p>\n The book was compiled by Epstein\u2019s associate Ghislaine Maxwell<\/a>, who is in jail for recruiting and trafficking teenage girls for sexual abuse. <\/p>\n What names are mentioned in the book?<\/p>\n There are about 150 people named in the book, from well-known public figures to those in academia and law, to lesser-known family members and friends.<\/p>\n A note attributed to Leslie Wexner, a billionaire former CEO of a company whose brands included Victoria\u2019s Secret and Bath & Body Works, wrote: \u201cI wanted to get you what you want \u2026 so here it is.\u201d It was followed by a drawing of breasts.<\/p>\n One section is titled \u201cgirlfriends\u201d and appears to include letters from former employees who became sexual partners.<\/p>\n In a section titled \u201cassistants\u201d, an unnamed woman says Epstein transformed her life, turning her into a jet-setting traveller who mixed in elite circles. The woman said she met Prince Andrew, Clinton, Trump, Naomi Campbell and Michael Jackson.<\/p>\n What about US presidents?<\/p>\n One birthday note within a sketch of a naked woman\u2019s torso has \u201cDonald\u201d signed below its pelvis along with an imagined conversation between Trump and Epstein.<\/p>\n A cryptic message quotes Trump as saying: \u201cWe have certain things in common, Jeffrey,\u201d wishing that \u201cevery day be another wonderful secret\u201d and adding: \u201cEnigmas never age, have you noticed that?\u201d (Trump denies he authored the note<\/a>)<\/p>\n Clinton is listed in the \u201cfriends\u201d section.
