\n\tIt looks like Ryan Reynolds<\/a> will be putting on the Deadpool<\/a> suit once again.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor confirmed during a recent appearance<\/a> at Fanatics Fest 2026 that another Deadpool movie is coming, which would follow the box office success of 2024\u2019s Deadpool & Wolverine.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere\u2019s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing behind the movies. I think there\u2019s a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics. There\u2019s certainly some stuff that, you know, I love that Fabian Nicieza [co-creator of Deadpool] wrote that is incredible. Gerry Duggan, who was a friend, was an incredible comic writer,\u201d Reynolds said onstage, via a video shared on X. \u201cThere\u2019s stuff upcoming. There\u2019s eventually, you know, remotely another Deadpool film. It\u2019s going to be great.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe actor-producer didn\u2019t give any additional details on whether the film would be another solo Deadpool installment or more of an ensemble film, with his chaotic antihero becoming more of a supporting player.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Hollywood Reporter has reached out to Marvel for comment. <\/p>\n

\n\tLast year, THR exclusively<\/a> reported that Reynolds was exploring ideas for another movie in the franchise; however, it would feature\u00a0X-Men<\/a>\u00a0characters. The actor has also previously stated that he did not see another solo\u00a0Deadpool\u00a0movie in his future.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCentering Deadpool works best if you take everything away from him and put his back against the wall. I can\u2019t really do that\u00a0again,\u201d he told THR<\/a> in 2024. \u201cA fourth time feels a little iterative and redundant. That doesn\u2019t mean sacrificing fun. There is still an arc for Deadpool which is fulfilling and powerful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen Deadpool & Wolverine, starring Reynolds and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, was released in 2024, it went on to become the\u00a0top-grossing R-rated movie of all time<\/a>, collecting over $1.3 billion globally.
