{"id":597893,"date":"2026-07-22T03:37:12","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T03:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/597893\/"},"modified":"2026-07-22T03:37:12","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T03:37:12","slug":"weei-93-7-boston-is-heading-to-siriusxm-as-part-of-radio-station-deal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/597893\/","title":{"rendered":"WEEI 93.7 Boston is heading to SiriusXM as part of radio station deal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonherald.com\/2026\/07\/20\/caleb-durbins-late-homer-helps-red-sox-rally-for-14th-straight-win\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">red-hot Red Sox<\/a> are still playing in October, their pennant run will be heard over satellite radio.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonherald.com\/2026\/07\/03\/weei-host-who-was-let-go-joins-98-5-the-sports-hub-wears-jaylen-brown-jersey-in-debut\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">WEEI 93.7 Boston<\/a> will be heading to SiriusXM on Sept. 1.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a deal between SiriusXM and Audacy, WEEI and other Audacy sports stations will be available to SiriusXM listeners in their vehicles and on the SiriusXM app. Those without SiriusXM will still be able to listen to WEEI.<\/p>\n<p>This deal comes a couple years after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonherald.com\/2024\/02\/20\/audacy-owner-of-weei-gets-ok-to-emerge-from-bankruptcy-with-soros-becoming-largest-shareholder\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Audacy emerged from bankruptcy<\/a>. Meanwhile locally, WEEI continues to lose to 98.5 The Sports Hub when it comes to ratings.<\/p>\n<p>Twenty-three Audacy sports stations will launch on SiriusXM on Sept. 1. In addition to WEEI, other Audacy stations on SiriusXM will include: WFAN (New York); 104.3 The Score (Chicago); 105.3 The Fan (Dallas); 95.7 The Game (San Francisco); and SportsRadio 94WIP (Philadelphia).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAudacy\u2019s sports brands are deeply connected to the cities, teams and fan communities they serve, and being able to extend our reach nationally through SiriusXM is a natural fit,\u201d Kelli Turner, CEO and president of Audacy, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to working together with SiriusXM to bring our outstanding talent and content to sports fans and news and talk listeners wherever they are, providing our audiences with more ways to stay connected to the conversations that matter most to them,\u201d Turner added.<\/p>\n<p>The Audacy sports stations will be available to the majority of SiriusXM subscribers through its most popular subscription plans, including Platinum, All Access, Music &amp; Entertainment, and other options.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSiriusXM is the essential audio home for sports fans, offering access to every team and game alongside an unmatched lineup of national sports talk, expert analysis, and the biggest voices in sports,\u201d said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM\u2019s president and chief content officer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also recognize the unique role local personalities play in connecting fans with their teams every day,\u201d he added. \u201cBy adding Audacy\u2019s extensive lineup of sports stations, we\u2019re making those trusted hometown voices available to fans wherever they are across North America.
